Communities
Supported by LogicWing
About this site:
- In this site you will find communities that are supported in some way, shape or form, by members of LogicWing. Some communities have been created by our team for a specific project or school district. Others, like the Google Play for Education community, have included us after their original start, because of some interest. If you are interested in connecting with others around a particular subject area or topic, or if you are just entering the space of professional and online learning communities and want some help jumping in slowly, join us and ask questions if you need help. Our mission is to empower people with the skills, knowledge and ability to use technology to live, work and learn. We welcome you with open arms.
Why it has been created:
- Too often we have been in situations where we want to be able to keep a conversation going and not had an online space to do so. We believe that keeping in touch with the people we serve is important. To complete the circle, we have decided to create a website that will allow us to communicate with educator communities more easily. One link to share, one link to remember.
- Because we don't subscribe to any particular tool or platform, we also needed a place to house all of the different communities that we belong to, across platforms and without bias.
How to join:
- Most of the communities in our site are open and public and you are free to join by clicking on a link. If you come across a community that requires you to ask before your join, moderators of the site will review your request. If the community is a private one, we will let you know and make a recommendation for another that may suit your needs.
How often we update:
- Some communities are regularly supported for a specific amount of time. Most communities shown on this site are open to the public and all are reviewed time to time by members of our staff. We will support you as often as we can.
